Fountain Hills has been blessed with the spirit of volunteerism since the fountain first rose into the sky in 1973 when there were only a handful of "pioneers" that invested in and built the first homes in the new community. That same spirit continued following incorporation in 1989 and continued to grow when the Town added a volunteer coordinator to the staff roster in the mid 2000's. This year, 500 plus volunteers will participate in Make A Difference Day benefitting many residents needing assistance and Town projects as well. Our many service groups in Town depend and thrive on their members to volunteer their time to support the causes of their charters.
Many people.....maybe even some of you reading this, may want to get involved, to give back to their community but have no idea how to find their personal "niche" in the vast volunteer opportunities available in Fountain Hills.
Welcome to Encore for More, formerly Senior Services, that has been a non-profit advocate group for the seniors of our community for 30 years. If you're reading this chances are you are perusing our website and see some of the programs we support and sponsor....most of which are covered on the Home page. Our board is comprised of people that support Encore's mission and bring a variety of talents to accomplish the goals of the organization. We are always looking for new people that share our goals and would be willing to share their expertise and energy to move our programs forward.
If you are looking for ways to get involved, give back, whatever.....please let us know. Our board actually has fun and enjoys each others company.....we even meet for informal lunch meetings in between official board meetings. Many of the board members are hands on organizers of our various programs so they are very aware of available volunteer opportunities for their respective programs. Our board is always looking for new members with fresh ideas and insights....including someone that would love to serve as secretary.....you would be our favorite person on day one!
So if you're looking for a way to volunteer in your community, give back, meet new people, have fun, find your niche and make a difference, just fill out the form below.....we would love to meet you!

Thanks to their creative, committed, and proactive board, the organization has once again evolved into I Love Fountain Hills that truly reflects its founding foundation and purpose that has been an integral part of the community since the '70's.

ENCORE VOUNTEER LIST!
From time to time Gail will release a request for volunteers to serve for a specific activity or event. The most recent request was for volunteers to assist at the Flutter Event at the Fountain to benefit the annual Fountain Hills Community Foundation fundraising event. These volunteer opportunities occur throughout the year and do not require a regular, full time commitment. If you would like to participate in that capacity and be added to Gail's "Call for Volunteers" email list, please contact her at gailpape87@gmail.com
Encore board members Jill Haislip, Gail Pape (president) and Mary Burritt volunteered at the Flutter event registering attendees. Two days earlier, Gail, Jill and two members of Gail's ENCORE VOLUNTEER LIST assembled and collated ALL the lanyards for the Flutter event, alleviating the need for additional help in the afternoon. Looking for an "as needed" volunteer project?..... just fill out the form below!
